Mark shot 80-84 164 to complete the 1st attempt of the PGA Players Ability Test. He is now a registered apprentice with the PGA of America. On May 31, Mark and Kevin will be playing a golf marathon to raise funds to support Marks education expense and the Shore Junior Golf Tour. Russ Mosher and Will Harvie shot a one over par 71 to win the Gross division for the third year in a row. The father-son team of Vince Taylor and Josh Taylor win the net division at 11 under par 59. In second net, with a 10 under par 60 was Ron Sabourin and Vince Bochicchio.
The next Men's Golf Association event is Saturday, June 11 with the rescheduled Scrambled Egg Tournament.
Ladies Champagne Tournament - May 18, 2011
Seventeen ladies played in the Champagne Tournament on Wednesday evening. The team of Tricia Hare, Beth McClaskey, Elaine Kaiser, and Jenna Hare won with a one-over par score of 36.
The next 9& Wine event is May 25 at 5:30 PM.
