Golf Marathon raises more than $1600 for PGA Education Fund and Shore Junior Golf Tour
Tuesday, May 31, 2011- The golf professionals at Eastern Shore Yacht & Country Club, Kevin Cloud and Mark Hisert, completed a golf marathon. Each played 108 holes at Eastern Shore Yacht & Country Club. Between them, they had 1 eagle, 8 birdies, 93 pars, and 114 bogeys or worse. The funds raised are designated for Mark Hisert's PGA Education and the Shore Junior Golf Tour. The 4th round was a great match with Kevin Cloud making an eagle on the 18th hole to shoot 79 and better Mark's 80 by one shot. A special thanks to all that sponsored the fundraiser. Also, thanks to Andy Mason who witnessed the first shot at 6:45 AM and the last putt at 8:15 PM. Thanks to Peter Hall for his excellent photography. Other spectators were Morgan Ridington, Tom Racosky, Van Smith, Eric and Peaches Dodge, Norman Thibodeaux, Bill Bender, Dan and Ginger Meisenhelder, and Tammy Mason.
